Company Background
Founding partners, Kenneth R. Walter and Marty K. Henderson, have been the top investigators for some of the largest companies in the southeast. In 1994, they conceived the idea of forming a company to utilize their skills and at the same time provide their clients with a commitment of low-cost, high-quality investigations. Both have been leaders in keeping up with technology within their field. To stay up with current laws and techniques, both attend seminars throughout the year to maintain continuing education credits. Ken and Marty are also licensed investigators in North and South Carolina.
In 2000, as the company continued to outpace the expected growth rate for the industry, Steve Harris joined the team and opened the Charleston, South Carolina office, which is the home base for all coastal investigations in the Carolinas. Steve brings valuable investigative tools and techniques as well as additional marketing skills to the company.
The Staff
Ken received his BS degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina at Spartanburg and is a member of The South Carolina Association of Legal Investigators. In 2005, SCALI named him Investigator of the Year. He is also a member of the Columbia Claims Association, Charlotte Claims Association and Piedmont Claims Association as well as a member of the S.C. Workers' Compensation Education Association. He also has an honorable discharge from the United States Navy where he spent his service time aboard Submarines. Ken is also the editor /publisher for the quarterly issue of the SCALI Journal. Ken is a licensed private investigator in North and South Carolina.
Marty received his BA degree in Political Science from the University of South Carolina at Spartanburg and is a member of The South Carolina Association of Legal Investigators and South Carolina Fraud Investigators. In May of 2005, he was named to the Executive Committee for SCALI and holds the position of Piedmont Regional Director. He is also a member of the S.C. Workers' Compensation Education Association. Marty was named Private Investigator of the Year in 2008 by SCALI. Marty is a licensed private investigator in North and South Carolina.
Steve received his BS in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina. His previous experience includes working with several of the largest investigative companies in the southeast. He is a member of The South Carolina Association of Legal Investigators, S.C. Workers' Compensation Education Association, Columbia Claims Association, Charlotte Claims Association and Charleston Claims Association. Steve is a licensed private investigator in North and South Carolina.
Chad is a former South Carolina Department of Corrections officer who joined our staff in 2009. Chad has previous qualifications and course work with supervision of offenders and security procedures. He is a licensed private investigator in South Carolina and a member of South Carolina Association of Legal Investigators.
Shanon received her BA in Psychology from the University of South Carolina. Her prior experience includes working for the Department of Social Services for 11 years as the Human Services Supervisor and front line Child & Elderly Abuse/Neglect investigator. She has extensive training in forensic interviewing of children, and she is qualified to conduct home evaluations for Family Court and private child custody actions. Shanon is a member of the South Carolina Association of Legal Investigators (SCALI) and is a licensed private investigator in South Carolina.
